All time favorites are so hard. Honestly, that's why I like splitting favorites into decades and genres, it keeps me from deciding. These favorites may not be my 15 if you ask me a month from now, but they'd definitely be in my top 50. Music evolves and so do favorites. One day I'll do a favorites list that isn't limited to a certain number, and will include some hip hop, but honestly today, I'm just too sleepy.

Well Well Well, Don't You Know Me Well

Starting to be brave and show some tightness skin! It's still kind of chilly and the wind lately has been ridiculous, but I've been wearing shorts to combat that. And by wearing shorts I mean I calmly let my dress go up because I'm covered. No shame here. I'm wearing black and brown today. My bf kept saying a black bag with those shoes? But things like that don't bother me. However mixing metals does. Lol. I'm weird I guess. Happy Thursday! I have an 8 hour work day, and hen probably the gym! My life is so exciting... I probably am the most boring New Yorker alive. Hope your guys have a good one! ♥

Music Mondays #13: Current Favorites 4.22.13

Hey guys! Another Monday, another music post! This one is very one genre specific, but that is mainly because due to me having a music rut in the midst of my music transferring from one device to another. I've been on Pandora discovering new songs and remembering old ones. All of these have popped up on my current favorite station, The Lumineers Radio. One day I'll do a post on my favorite Pandora stations, but until then here are some favorite songs of right now. Almost none of them are current but they're great! I'm also loving remixes of these songs, especially the Alex Metric Remix of Lisztomania.

Nights on Canal

Hey guys! Here's a outfit of the day from a bit ago when I went to the Lookbook.nu x Material Wrld x Twelv Magazine party with Erica. It was such a nice day, NYC was at 82 degrees(it went right back down to 50s)! We were super excited to go, but it was way too crowded(like 3000+ crowded), and it was pretty hard to breathe, let alone move around, so we left about 5 minutes in. The night was not lost however, because we stopped in a dirty side street on Canal St. to take pictures. If NYC is good for something, it's places to take photos. These are in black and white because it was so dark you couldn't differentiate color anyway, and these looked better. I hope you guys liked this! most of my pictures are taken at my bf's house in Westchester because I usually don't have someone around in the city to take pictures for me, but I enjoy taking pictures in the city! Another Sunday has rolled around! Hope you guys are enjoying yours. I'm probably doing some spring cleaning with the boy and hitting the gym before our Sunday tv time. I hope I can get things done! I've been having the worst tummy aches this weekend. It's really fucking annoying because I don't know what's causing it, but what can you do!

Steve Madden "Cinch" Boot: $149.95

The cutout trend is so big right now and I am loving it. After so much research I decided on these. I was struggling between taupe and black, but I just thought that the the taupe would be amazing for spring and summer, and I'll get a black pair.....eventually. Quick post but I thought these beauties deserved their own time to shine! I can't wait to style them! I honestly don't think I've ever spent this much on a pair of shoes! Maybe this means I'm a big girl? Doubt it. The only thing I hate is that I have the worst fucking buyers remorse in the world. That goes for any purchase on a single item over $100. I'm having trouble learning to "invest" in good pieces. I cringe at things that are over $50! I had to seriously talk myself into keeping these. I justified it by looking for affordable versions in a taupe color and finding none! I can't tell you how many beautiful things I've returned because I felt bad about how much they cost. Such is life! I love these so much, that a black pair is definitely on my list! Any recommendations for black cutout boots? I'm thinking about the Jeffrey Campbell Everly boots since my birthday is next month, which is an excuse to treat myself! Let me know what you guys are loving! I hope everyone has a great Friday! A Spider Crawled On My Leg

I am so excited that its warm enough to show some skin! Although I won't lie, there are still jackets and scarves added to the ensemble. It's just nice to know we're almost there. Haha. A spider crawled on m leg yesterday while writing this blog post and I accidentally deleted it while I was freaking out. I didn't even care at the moment because I was so freaked out. Good news is, in my dramatics, i accidentally killed him, meaning I win. Lol. So sorry this is a bit later in the day than normal. I'm off to work, and then perhaps some frozen yogurt!
